  • Must be an EA Official Dressage event.

  • Preliminary to Grand Prix eligible.

  • Event must have two tests at same level and at least an open championship at that level.

  • Both pony tests must be judged by same judge/s as the open tests for the level to be eligible.

  • If an open championship is awarded at a level but no pony championship is awarded for the same level, championship points will be allocated to the highest placed pony as if it was included in the open championship.

Official Results

This weekend is the result of many, many hours put in by both the ASPR Committee and the AOR Sub Committee and would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of several key organisers. Our ASPR President Rossanne Mason who sourced the ASPR sponsorship and provided support and direction throughout the entire process, Lizzie Schirmer of the Event Company who gained fantastic sponsorship for the AOR section of the program and was the very helpful link between the organisers and the amazing facilities of Boneo Equestrian Park with Fiona Selby.  Also Keryn Conners and Janet Mould who co-ordinated all of our judges. Janet, the Chair of the AOR Sub Committee provided a great sounding board for ideas.

We take this opportunity to thank both naming rights sponsors; Pryde’s EasiFeed who have been a long time investor in the Australian Sports Pony Registry and our events as well as Mitavite who continue their association with, and promotion of Amateur Owner Riders in Victoria.

We especially thank our excellent judges, many who judged maximum numbers in their classes and who all provide valuable feedback to the riders.

We also would like to sincerely thank the riders themselves for both supporting this weekend and answering the call for helpers to pencil, gear check and collect test papers. Without your assistance, there simply would be no event.

Miss Sophie Taylor riding the Gold ROM mare Raven Lodge Aura won both of the special Pryde's EasiFeed Rising Star Novice Pony awards on each day of the event.  The Rising Star Novice Pony was a special section for riders aged 8-16 years on a pony in the Novice competition.

Another special feature of the event was the Teams Challenge with 3 riders and their mounts competing over the weekend with the best scores from the hardest test on each day to count.

Winning the Team Challenge was The Untouchables with Sophie Taylor and Raven Lodge Aura, Alexandra Diprose and Kapeta Kip and Sally Toulmin and Roxleigh Frangelica.  Collecting the garlands and beautiful rosettes for the team was Sophie pictured draped in floral splendour, on her pony and also Sally and her mare proudly wearing their prize.

Placing 2nd in the Team Challenge was Team Touch of Class with Clarissa Bentley Bell riding Sugarloaf FeFe, Corrine Winch riding Limoncello and Deborah Hodgson and Albys Dixie Runner.

3rd placed Team was No Vices Trio with Phillipa Molnar and Escondida, Heather Lindup and Aurum Lithium and Susan Thompson riding Casino De Luxe.

Online shortly will be 'Sports Pony', the ASPR e-magazine featuring a special photo report of this event.
