Rising Star Novice Pony
As part of the Pryde's EasiFeed Open EA Dressage Championships,
the Australian Sports Pony Registry will include the
Rising Star Novice Pony Awards.
A special Golden Garland Rosette will be given each day of the event
for junior riders aged 8 to 16 years mounted on a pony.
Conditions of Entry :

Pony must be registered with EA and hold a current competition license.

Ponies graded Elementary or above are ineligible.

Rider and owner must be financial members of EA

Ponies must be a minimum of 4 years of age (as at 1st August preceding the date of event.)
Mystery Team Challenge
-
Mystery Teams will be selected by the OC in order of entries received.

Team will consist of 4 horses/ponies (riders with more than one horse/pony will be placed in separate teams)

The Mystery Team Challenge will take place over the two days of the event.
-
The eligible Team tests will be the highest test on Day 1 and the highest test on Day 2 at each level.

The winning team will be the team with the highest scores achieved.
-
In the case of equality of scores, the winning team shall be the team where the lowest level competitor has the best result.
-
In the case of a scratching/withdrawal of a horse/pony and rider, a replacement team member will be substituted (if entry numbers suffice).
Special prizes and rosettes for Team 1st to 3rd place

Riders are eligible from the beginning of the calendar year they turn 8 years of age to the end of the calendar year they turn 16 years of age.

Two separate Rising Star Novice Pony awards will be given to junior rider and pony combinations. One following the completion of the Pony Novice competition on Saturday 13th October and the second following the completion of the Pony Novice competition on Sunday 14th.
Small Horse and
Over Height ASPR Registers
Small horses exceeding 148 cms (14.2 1/4hh) and up to 158 cms (15.2 1/4hh) without shoes may be registered in the Small Horse Register.
Horses exceeding 158 cms (15.2 1/4hh) without shoes may be registered in the Over Height Register.
Breeding Crown Titles
A new initiative by the ASPR to recognise and award Mares and Stallions through successful progeny results.

If a 'small horse' out scores the horses at an official EA Dressage Championship event,the horse will be awarded with
$100 plus a special rosette
to commemorate this achievement
Grand Champion Award Rules and Conditions :

Competition year 1/8/17 to 31/7/18

Open to horses measuring over 148 cms and not exceeding 158 cms without shoes, in all Australian states and territories.

Horse must be registered with its EA State Branch and owner/rider must be financial members in accordance with the EA rules.

Current measuring certificate must be supplied for proof of height. EA, RAS or SHC accepted.

Must be an EA Official Dressage event.

Preliminary to Grand Prix eligible

Event must have two tests at same level and an open championship at that level.
-
HC results and Freestyles are not eligible
-
Copy of official results (or link to results) must be submitted by the rider/owner to the ASPR Federal Office.

All championship levels are eligible. Multiple combinations may be awarded at the same event.

Grand Champion will be calculated as per EA Dressage rules ie: points awarded for placings. In the event of a tie for the level championship (with a horse or pony), the total aggregate percentage will be used to calculate the winner. If total percentage is equal, winner will be determined by highest percentage achieved in hardest test.

Combination (horse and rider) can only win a Small Dressage Horse Award once in any one year and only once at any one level ie: if combination wins the Small Dressage horse Award at Preliminary level, they cannot win again at Preliminary level the following year or any subsequent year unless the combination of horse and rider changes.

the pony will be awarded with
$250 plus an inscribed rug
to commemorate this achievement
